Come and join the Mighty Ruts!
Old Rutlishians, usually referred to as "Old Ruts" or "The Mighty Ruts", are based in leafy Merton Park near Wimbledon. Cricket, squash and soccer are also played here and there is large and well appointed clubhouse and bar.
Although once exclusively linked to Rutlish School, hence the name, we currently have over 280 boys and girls from almost 70 different schools playing for us, a truly open club!
Whilst we are not so big that your child will get lost in a sea of players, we very much punch above our weight and for season 2011 / 2012 our U13's are running A's and B's in Division 3 and 6, U14's A's in Division 2 and B's in Divsion 5, U15's in Division 3, U16's Division 2 and Under 18's in Division 3.
Our Minis have a long tradition of competing strongly in friendlies and at all the main Surrey Tournaments and our U11's won a major festival at Brean Sands last year and followed that up bt coming runners up this season.
Training and matches for the Minis takes place every Sunday morning - if we are at home, it starts at 10 and finishes at 12 from early September all the way through till our tour in the last week of April. Have a check in the fixtures section to see when we are next at home.
Juniors also train and play on Sunday but also do floodlit training every Wednesday evening from 7.
There is no need to pre join or anything - just come along with a pair of boots when we are at home and you will soon find your age group and can start playing.
