Welcome to our Senior Rugby Home Page.
In 2012/2013 Old Rutlishians 1st XV will play in RFU London & South East Surrey League 2.
This season sees a change in the coaching staff with Mark Chandler stepping down as Head Coach to focus on other areas of coaching within the club and the appointment of Michael Simmonds as the new Head Coach.
2012/2013 is an exciting year with the retention of our place in Surrey 2 and the 2nd XV having won their league for the last two years – 2012/2013 is all about continuing that success.
Old Ruts offers competitive rugby with high aspirations in the league, National Cup and Surrey Cup. In order to be successful we need to increase our player base; with players of all levels welcome.
If you are interested in playing please email mjesimmo@gmail.com including your name, contact details and a brief on your rugby experience (however little this may be). PLEASE REMEMBER EVERYBODY IS WELCOME.
We train on Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season. Old Ruts can promise a great club environment and sociable club – which will accompany the efforts to improve players as individuals and as a team on the pitch.
